The increasing suffering and needy people in communities and our country Uganda are as a result of domestic violence, injustices, corruption, poverty and ignorance which require immediate action. The feeling that we don’t, because we are also poor is not a proper excuse to failure to help our dear brothers and sisters suffering on streets, those passing through a very hard life that is the poorest people and those that sleep in sacks and polythene bags with no home. It is my request to all Ugandans, Local leaders, the President of the republic of Uganda, personals, companies, industries, societies, foundations, organizations, countries and all people of good will to join hands together to support KALIKWANI CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION programs to ensure that all the categories of children and teenagers are helped.

Education Programs

JEREMIAH BUYINZA – DIRECTOR AND PERMANENT SECRETARY

As Permanent Secretary, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact of our programs. We’ve empowered over 50 children to access education, and countless teenagers have benefited from our skills and empowerment programs. But our work is far from over. We have a vision to expand our reach, opening new schools, hospitals, and homes for those who need it most. We require resources and support to make this vision a reality.

We help children study by paying for their school fees, uniforms and scholastic needs. The number of poor children depends on the amount of donations we receive. Would you like to adopt a child at a distance for his or her education? get in contact with us, we do not want to present to you a multitude of faces for you to choose from and send your donation to our fund. We are a Non Profit Registered Organization, registered as a CBA and as a Foundation.

Now-a-days it is easy to transfer money and this direct approach guarantees to you that there are no hidden expenses such as Administration. What you send, goes all to the child if your intention is to educate that child.

Building an Orphanage

A Home, A Family

We are in the process of building an Orphanage to host at least 50 orphan kids. We are having the plans being drawn up this January 2025. This will be a World first design of its type (As far as we know) therefore it will be a Pilot project. Sustaining this social building, there is a serious study to change the children’s concept what an orphan is. The building will create 10 dwellings where 5 children of a step up ages will live with a lady volunteering as a mother. They will cook and eat together, watch TV and do everything as a family. It is so much easier for 5 children to bond and grow into a family core, than if each child has to bond (as a family) with 49 others. A father figure (volunteer) will adopt one of the 10 families and visit for dinner at least once a week to give these children a father’s love. The man will ask his adopted children about their school, play and daily life and they in turn might have questions that only could be asked to the father figure.

Then there will choose to be together in different areas in the complex wherever they chose and this will be their neighbourhood life. We aspire to create a stronger, healthier family than most. The idea behind this concept will not only annihilate ‘orphanism’ (new word) from their mind but create a very strong and united family essence.

Building a School

We are in the process of finishing a small school building starting from kindergarten and we do this step by step as soon as we acquire finance. We already got over a thousand Euros from a friend in Taiwan who spent some great time with us volunteering. We started to fix the walls and plastering. We need at least $2000.00 to finish the roof and be able to go to the homes and bring around 90 toddlers for playschool and Kindergarten. We already have the teachers lined up but we have to make it safe before we can hope to start giving educational formation, love and hope to these, otherwise abandoned angels.
